Work Party & Potluck at Hulitun Spulhxun/Tumuhw Native Plant Nursery in Cowichan Estuary. Young Agrarians is hosting this free event. Guided by staff from the Nature Trust of BC, attendees will learn about the Cowichan Estuary Restoration and Quw’utsun Food Systems Revitalization Projects and the thousands of native food and medicinal plants found in the nursery. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food item to contribute to the potluck and to dress in weather appropriate clothing.
