The CCLT has been coordinating the volunteer program at Nature Conservancy Canada’s Cowichan Garry Oak Preserve since May. It’s such a wonderful way to connect with and support the unique and at risk Garry Oak ecosystem\, and meet fun likeminded folks in the community.  Activities include weeding and tending the nursery beds\, removing invasive plants around the preserve\, collecting seeds from native species.
