SUMMARY:Resilient Coasts for Salmon-Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Protecting the Shoreline: A Shared Responsibility \nIsland shorelines hold immense ecological and cultural value. As climate change in the Islands Trust Area results in more\nextreme storms and sea level rise\, the need to protect the shoreline is critical. This session will teach participants about\ncoastal climate impacts\, clam gardens as sites of cultural revitalization\, and what individuals can do to promote shoreline health.\nParticipants will learn about the Green Shores® program\, which was designed to help waterfront landholders restore natural shorelines using science-based tools and best\npractices to minimize the impacts of new development and view brand-new data from the shoreline hardening mapping\ninitiative led by the Pacific Salmon Foundation \nRegister at: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fresilientcoasts.us14.list-manage.com%2Ftrack%2Fclick%3Fu%3D5a4e2514f72ba3e679af067b1%26id%3D540d245d9f%26e%3D2d78008ce1&data=05%7C02%7C%7C6c4003a93caf44b5e3b608de2dfec1bc%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638998769353618588%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=jrw15urlDmONzfEpX2EmyGHaitwB4x%2F2c3Byoe6NakA%3D&reserved=0
