Somenos Creek Parrots Feather Removal Thursdays / September 4, 11, 18, 25 / 9am–12pm. We will meet at the end of Rosewood Ave, Duncan. Bring water, weather-appropriate clothing, and rubber boots. We will be working from a boat, removing an aquatic invasive plant from Somenos Creek.
Matching donations are available till Sept. 30th to purchase an additional 21 acres. 3/4 of the funding is now in place! Walk with Nancy Turner to explore these lands. Space is limited-please pre-register.
Cowichan Stewardship Round Table invites anyone to join their monthly (3rd Tuesday) meetings to share information about issues, studies, activities and events related to the Cowichan River Watershed. In-person at Fish Health Building or on zoom. This month will focus on preparation for Quw'utsun Sta'lo' Skweyul (Cowichan River Day) on September 21st.
