Climate Change Workshop

Upcoming noon hour workshop in Duncan this Thursday. This follows on the heels of a presentation at the BCRTA Conference last month. (We apologize for the late notice). The Cowichan Valley Retired Teachers Association (CVRTA) has been able to coordinate with Seniors for Climate to bring in three experts who are actively working on addressing climate issues: Bill Darnell who was on the Senior’s for Climate caravan and a founding member of Greenpeace; Patricia Lane, a climate communicator and active on climate issues with a number of organizations; and Rieky Stuart who has worked in international development in Asia and Africa for many years.

Breaking the Climate Silence was a panel discussion at the BCRTA Conference in September, and we felt strongly about bringing the issues to share with you. Family and friends are welcome to this free event. If you are planning to attend, please reply to cvrtasecretary@gmail.com
