Hecate Park Restoration Volunteer Event

The CVRD Parks & Trails Volunteer Program
and the Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre invite
you to volunteer! Activities will include native
planting, weeding and beach cleanup.

We are honoured to have Siilh’na’mut Ken
Elliott (Knowledge Holder and native plant
expert) and Genevieve Singleton (biologist
and nature educator) joining us to share
about the significance of the area and the
importance of the native plants found at
Hecate Park beach.
