Andy MacKinnon talk: “Rare Ground”

Andy MacKinnon, the guru of BC plants, will provide an entertaining and informative talk entitled: “Rare Ground: Inside B.C.’s Most Endangered Forest” as part of the month-long exhibition, ‘Art of the Six Mountains,’ a collaboration of the Cowichan Valley Arts Council and sixmountains.ca.
MacKinnon served as forest research ecologist with the provincial government for three decades. He has co-authored six best-selling books on plants of western North America, including the iconic, Plants of Coastal British Columbia and the Royal BC Museum Handbook, Mushrooms of British Columbia.
