Nature Viewing

Enjoying nature in the Cowichan Valley

Natural beauty is all around us — we just need to pay attention.  This map and the link below show a few special nature-viewing areas and easy walks in the valley.   Here’s the key to the map:

  • Green pins for viewing flowers, trees, and other plants.
  • Blue pins for birding
  • Red pins for animals other than birds, scenery, and geological features
  • Green lines for easy walks or hikes.
  • Blue lines for more challenging hikes.

Click on a pin or line for a description of the site or walk.  Use Google Maps features to view a satellite photo or get directions to the site.
